We set up the appropriate equipment we needed to make the short film,
which consisted of two Canon DSLR 650D cameras, a tripod and two shotgun
Rode microphones.
We made sure all the settings and white balance were appropriate for what we needed to film by using the manual settings to increase ISO or AV settings. We made sure we matched the conventions of our genre of film by using a 25 frame rate per second and standard picture style.
We used one camera mounted on a tripod for panning and establishing shots and the other handheld for personal close-ups. The sound quality of the microphones was appropriate although often outdoors we would need to take out a muffler to reduce wind and background noise.
